First Aid Training
is the first and immediate assistance given to any person suffering from either a minor or serious illness or injury. With care provided to preserve life, prevent the condition from worsening, or to promote recovery.
Accredited First Aid Training Level 1
Besides the legal requirement to have an appointed first aid officer within your organisation, because it is just as crucial that the person appointed be trained to a level to deal with medical emergencies that may occur within the workplace. Medical emergencies that the first aider may encounter and to be included in the first aid training in either Johannesburg or Pretoria training centres:
Minor injuries on duty
A work accident, workplace accident, occupational accident, or accident at work is a occupational injury.
Heart attacks
may occurs when blood flow decreases or stops to a part of the heart, causing damage to the heart muscle.
Seizures
formally known as an epileptic seizure, is a period of symptoms due to abnormally excessive or synchronous neuronal activity in the brain and not treated quick enough will be detrimental to the person.
Bleeding
is also known as a hemorrhage or haemorrhage. Which is blood escaping from the circulatory system from damaged blood vessels.
Burns
is a type of injury to skin, or other tissues, caused by heat, cold, electricity, chemicals, friction, or radiation. Most burns are due to heat from hot liquids, solids, or fire.
